But you're a bit—how shall we put it? Technologically impaired? We won't tell anyone. Just follow these easy How-to-Put-a-Pattern-on-your-Screen-Cliff's-Notes: 

  • Visit this page with Safari on your iPhone or iPad and click on your fave from the list below. A new page with an image will come up. Hold your finger on the image for a few moments (longer than just a quick touch), and a helpful prompt will ask you if you want to save the image. You do.

  • Go to your Photos , select the image you just downloaded, touch the  icon in the lower left, and choose "Use as Wallpaper". No need to move or scale the image- it's perfect the way it is.

  • Choose "Set Lock Screen" or "Set Home Screen" or both. (We like both.) Ta dah!
