Making things people want to buy is a really fun business.

And these gals get to do it every day. OCG Products is the work of partners April Mraz and Cherie Stine. April and Cherie got their first taste of the product design and production world with their highly successful Stretchy Shapes line. This boutique line of the highest-trending children's silicone bracelets launched at the New York Toy Fair in February 2010 and sold nationally in hundreds of stores, including Nordstrom and Hallmark, in 2010 alone. They went on to sell internationally in 2011. Stretchy Shapes paved the way for new and exciting product development.

Enter Tech Candy. Huge Apple fans, both April (CEO and Design Diva) and Cherie (COO and Sales Chick) struggled to find acceptable gadget cases for their iPhones. Between the two, hundreds of cases have been bought or researched and ultimately– they all failed the "Am I proud to carry it?" and "Does it protect my phone?" tests. And not just failed. Failed miserably. So the gals set out to build a better mousetrap. Cherie's strategy super mind went to work in researching consumer needs and the competitive landscape to find that existing cases did a less-than-dismal job of being something fresh, cool and fashionable that a trendsetter would want to be spotted with. April was inspired by New York Fashion Week color ways and architectural details the world ‘round to design the first Tech Candy iPhone Case Sets, and the fashion police breathed a collective sigh of relief. Later designs were borne from pop culture inspiration. As rabid Tech Candy fans shouted for more, the line grew from a line of Case Sets to the wide collection of technology-based accessories it is today. Tech Candy has been spotted on the arms of celebs from Leann Rimes to the Kraft Hot Zesty Dressing Guy. Fun stuff.

All collections can be seen here on our site, at retail stores nationwide, or in person to the trade at showrooms in the Dallas Trade Mart, Atlanta AmericasMart, and the Las Vegas Market.

What's next? Oh, the gals have so much more up their collective sleeve. Check back often. They promise much more coolness to come.
